There are certain questions that an interviewer will ask you, some of these are:
Why are you looking for a new position.
How much experience do you have.
What was the culture like at your present, or past company.
The most important question that is asked is:
Why do you want to work here?
Most people will respond with, I looked you up on the web and I like your company, or I am looking for something that will allow me to expand my knowledge, or, I am looking for a long term position.
While these are standard answers, the best answer to give is:
I can fix your problem. You have an open position and you have a situation that needs to be fixed and I believe that my skills can fix the problem.
This answer is something that most hiring managers will not expect to hear, but if you give this answer, you must also be prepared to back up what you are saying.
You can do this by reading the job description thoroughly, researching the company, find out what they do and what they are trying to accomplish so that you are ready to back up your answer when the hiring manager says; how do you propose to fix our problem.
